Es besteht eine Schwachstelle in der Komponente Credential Manager, die unbefugten administrativen Zugriff ermöglichen könnte. Ein nicht authentifizierter Remote-Angreifer könnte diese Schwachstelle auf einem Gerät im werkseitigen Standardzustand oder im Post-ZTP-Zustand ausnutzen, bevor ein Administrator Anmeldeinformationen konfiguriert hat, indem er ein vorhersehbares werkseitiges Standardpasswort angibt. Eine erfolgreiche Ausnutzung könnte während des Ersteinrichtungsprozesses zur vollständigen administrativen Kontrolle über das betroffene Gerät führen.
